In this learning session, learners will listen and learn about trauma and its impact on the LGBTQIA+ community. Trauma can happen to anyone at any time. Trauma affects all races, ethnicities, religions, cultures, histories, genders, locations, and languages. Learners will explore the history of the LGBTQIA+ community and learn strategies they can incorporate into their daily practice to support LGBTQIA+ individuals in living, growing, and thriving within the community. Learners will receive a certificate for professional learning time after completing the course survey. If continuing education or professional learning is required for licensing purposes, please reach out to your organization or institution to ensure they will accept the certificate.
