Utah Marriage Counseling
Leavitt Institute for Marriage and Family has experienced Utah therapists that facilitate Utah marriage counseling. Whether you are interested in premarital counseling, or you have been married for many years, marriage counseling can be a way to resolve concerns, utilize strengths, achieve relational goals, and ultimately reach new heights of happiness within your relationship.
Marriage Enrichment
Relationships do not have to be in crisis to benefit from Utah Marriage Counseling. Some people put off their problems until it is seemingly impossible to resolve them. On some occasions, a couple will enter marriage counseling as a “last attempt to save [their] marriage.” This attitude often prevents couples from getting early counseling interventions that could better help identify and mediate their issues. A wise and experienced therapist may be able to help a couple prioritize and address their concerns, identify relational strengths, provide added awareness into marital expectations, and explore possibilities for marriage enrichment. Marriage therapists at Leavitt Institute work collaboratively with couples in developing treatment plans, and employing treatment strategies.
Our Philosophy
Our focus is helping individuals, couples, and families improve their relationships and mental health. We believe humans are relational beings, and as such that relationships are a basis of the human experience. We also believe the family is the foundation of society and the relationship between husband and wife is the centerpiece of the family. Committed marriages are better positioned to provide the structure, nurturance and guidance needed for the well-being of the next generation. Committed marriages are more likely to work through the roadblocks to intimacy and unity and create a home life where happiness is more likely to be achieved.
We invited couples to consider Leavitt Institute for Utah Marriage Counseling and help with relational concerns and in achieving their marital goals.
