Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Upon graduating from Utah State University with a degree in psychology, I procured a job at a residential treatment center for teenagers. This experience inspired me to return to school to gain more practical experience. The following year, I enrolled in Brigham Young University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program.

I am grateful for this decision, as this training has allowed me to work with many populations. I have conducted individual, couple, family, and group therapy for many topics, including: assertiveness, eating disorders, substance abuse, infidelity, pornography addiction, chronic perfectionism, depression, and anxiety.

Being an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist has given me the opportunity to see key turning points in the lives of others. The more that I witness these important changes, the more I believe that change can work for our good if we will allow it. I encourage my clients to take advantage of the therapy process by learning valuable skills necessary to navigate future difficulties.

I live with my husband in Provo, Utah and enjoy cooking, reading, and sewing.
